Child Dental Benefits Schedule

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a federally funded dental scheme which commenced the 1st of January 2014 and replaces the Medicare Teen Dental Voucher.

CDBS entitles children aged between 2 –17 years, who receive Family Tax Benefit Part A (or one of the below Australian Government payments) with $1000.00 of dental care over a two year period.

Dental and related services provided by the team at Garry Hibble Dental will be bulk billed. If your child is eligible there will be no GAP payment.

Children who are eligible will receive a letter from Medicare or Centrelink in the coming months. Please bring this letter and your Medicare Card to all appointments to claim your child’s benefits.
